IMA FIGHTER
Fighter is one of the easiest horses I've ever had the pleasure of training and running. I started him on the barrels as a 3yr old before I got sidelined with an injury. He then went and finished his training with Lance Graves and went on to be very successful in the futurities, derby and open races and rodeos. He is also a finished head, heal & breakaway horse as well as started in the poles. I sold him a few years ago to the east coast where he was very successful with his new owner. Circumstances forced her to sell him so I bought him back because he's just too nice not to. He's competitive, yet will take care of the kids.
Fighter is sired by Ima Firefighter, who is a 1D and rodeo money earner earning over $6K (recorded), and has sired progeny earnings of over $500K. Ima Firefighter is sired by Fire Water Flit, who had a SI-86, earning only $440, but sired offspring with earnings of over $2.9 million, of which $2.4 million of that was in barrel racing. He was the all-time leading barrel horse sire 2006, 2007 & 2009 and held the spot of the nations leading maternal barrel horse sire for over a decade. Ima Firefighter's dam, Ima Copper Bug Too, won over $100K running barrels and ran arena records. She was sired by Copper Bugs, who had a SI-109 winning $204,067.
Fighter's dam, Feefifowho, had a SI-97 earning $66,414 on the track. She was sired by By Who, SI-102 earning $10,102. By Who was sired by By Yawl, who had a SI-96 earning $130,052 and sired progeny with earnings of over $5.2 million. By Who's dam, Around Midnight, produced progeny with earnings of over $152K. She was sired by Alamitos Bar, who sired progeny with earnings of over $4.4 million. Feefifowho's dam, Feefifofuel, produced multiple ROM Race winners and was sired by Oklahoma Fuel. He sired 21 foal crops with 201 starters, 94 winners, 3 stakes winners, 4 superior race awards, 98 ROMs, 80 2yr old ROMs. He sired Yeller Fuel (SI-102 $104,431), Jet Switch ($45,275), and the following horses with over $25K in winnings each: Oklahoma Hanka, Dynamite Fuel, Ole White Lightning, Native Fuel and Bells Fuel. He also sired Oklahoma Top Hat, who was a 4X PRCA head horse of the year (1991, 1992, 1993, 1997).
